what's your sense of things?

There's so much going on in the world. Maybe it's always been this way and we've never really been hearing much about it. People tell me that 'things are changing, shifting, moving..." etc. Do you think so? What do you see as different somehow? How is it affecting your life? What are you doing about it?

After 10 days of Katrina On Every Media outlet

We all heard it was coming. Days before it hit, the weather service made it clear that this would be a really big hurricane. Television wasted no time in making it an object of our attention. With live film, snapshots, sound and fury we were inundated and horrified for the people of New Orleans. Much confusion on the ground during the evacuations and rescue operations confounded me. Where were they, the one's who go everywhere else in the world in a matter of hours? Who was going to help the people of that drowning city?

Now it has been ten days. People are being shipped all over the country. Many are separated from all they knew and loved. Victims, pundits and bureaucrats are pointing fingers, firing people and throwing blame around like mud. Nothing will be the same in the Big Easy. Nor will it be the same anywhere in the country, I suspect.

This blogs seeks to find out how the whole event in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and all, has made YOU feel differently about things. What do you consider important, now, when you think of the changes this Earth is going through? What do you suppose is going on at the subtle levels of your life, and perhaps making you feel like the earth is moving under your feet?

Dialogue, direct and polite , is invited here for what ever reason you may feel that you need to share, or hear, about the experience of others around this life changing event.
